INSOMNIA
Three hours of sleep in three days
Fitful at best
Zombie lethargy
What the REM is going on!
I’m so tired
Yet peaceful slumber avoids me
Vertigo perhaps
Definitely Tinnitus
The buzzing locust’s symphony
Cochlear concerto
Shrill crescendo
Relentless
Reverbs in my right ear
Hydrops habitual haunting
It comes in cycles
Or maybe restless brio
Urgent current of commiseration
Sympathy pains
Of my own subliminal design
Whatever the reason for such impetus issues
Remains obscure
Inconvenient
Off balance
Extremely irritating
Internal clock
Delicate mechanism within
Quickly warped
By mental villain vigilantes
Often I wonder
Am I the only one?
Wired at such an awful hour
Mellow doze
High priority for now
