“Happy Birthday Jesus”
“Merry Christmas” all
I celebrate our dear Saviors birth
As I reflect on my re-birth through His grace
No need for a specific date
To honor our union
Together
Every day is special
As we walk along arm in arm
I accept the tradition of this holiday
My eyes see past the commercialistic greed
The stress of “performing”
Painfully etched on people’s faces
The rush and rudeness displayed in public
To enjoy the excitement and innocence in our children
Feel the warmth of family
Savor the solitude
Of His Holy blood
Flowing through my veins
I pray for the lost and misguided
Those who are never satisfied
That their gnawing doubt dissolves
Replaced by the peace and joy of Christ
Almighty God
Only You
Surveys the depths of my soul
I praise You in reverence
Gratitude
Complete satisfaction
Glory to You in the highest
My gifts
Compassion
Empathy
Diction of hope
I shall share with all
As You have taught me
