As I slowly lost my way, began my descent into hell, you always stuck by me, even when I gave you so many reasons to turn away. You held that same trusting gaze and you helped to pull me through the darkness. Your unconditional love kept me strong, gave me a reason to go on.

Wild ride

WILD RIDE

My life has been a roller coaster. At times I cruise on through without holding on to the rail, confident that I will not fall or be harmed. Other times I hold on tight with white knuckle desperation, dreading the next drop.

Reflecting on my past, the times I am trusting and confident are the happy moments, filled with peace and quiet serenity. The moments of doubt and fear are the worst times, black and filled with anxiety and restlessness.

The exhilaration and joy of the wild ride with “NO HANDS” reckless abandon give me the rush I need to satisfy my youthful adventurous spirit. It bathes me in freedom and trust, confidently knowing that HIS GRACE will see me through. It brings back the child in me, full of energy and hope. It comforts and reassures me like my Mom’s embrace.

It makes me proud to be a child of THE KING.

WHAT DREAM?


What dream is this?
We bully and plunder
We humiliate, we meddle, we hunt, we fabricate
We kill in whose name?
We murder unborn babies, God’s precious gift of life
In the name of freedom of choice
We practice blasphemy, apostasy, and blatant disregard for God’s Holy Word

WHY???????
Are we above our creator? Do we know best? Do we control our destiny?

Wake up America, our judgment is near
Focus on truth, abandon our fear
Repent, accept, and return to His fold
As the fulfillment of the scriptures floods our souls

His Throne is Mighty, Magnificent, and True
His Light is Holy, Steadfast, and New
He is the only hope for our smoldering beast, our society of Babylon

Can you hear the trumpets sounding His triumphant return?
Will we turn to righteousness, follow the light

Enigmatic, lost, beautiful, tragic, moments of brilliance, nurturing, gentle, terrified, deep, restless, searching, isolated, golden hair, soft, warm, lips of honey, alone in a crowd.

I wish I could travel with you on your journey deep within……to comfort you….to rescue you…….my best friend.
Yet I know I am forbidden, never meant to enter your safe place, my eyes will never see.
You must go there alone.

Sometimes you leave me breathless, gasping for your love like oxygen.
Sometimes you leave me lost, bewildered, clinging to your ghost.

Enigmatic, Sensual, Breathtaking, Forbidden
The siren calls, she beckons me in the night
She tempts me with her beauty and her charm
Her pleasure is fleeting, her fruit is deadly
Her allure is poison to my soul

She is a great deceiver, the venomous harlot, stalking her prey
Her journey leads to darkness, her promise, a dead end
Her misery is eternal, sulfuric, acrid, putrid and vile
She reeks of rotting souls

She waits just outside my realm of consciousness
Waiting, laying her trap, patient and cunning
Seeking my innocence, to seize it forever
Will I ignore her tempting call

The choice is mine each day
To live in the light or sleep with her in the dark abyss
I pray for strength to resist her wretched satin touch, her death kiss

I was a wreck, crash and burn baby
Broken, wounded, alive but dead
My life was filled with fear, pain, and dread
I was blinded by the darkness

A lost soul on the lost highway
Wasted and longing for death

Blackened soul, I struggled for breath
Dancing with the devil going down real slow
