Apparently programmed
Such strange embryonic wiring
Curiosity drives the lad
The elder expired long ago
I wonder if gestation
Fully developed to begin with
Moldy walls
Surround the sacred city
Heartbeat of musical thought
The sound check fell upon deaf ears
Frail naked emperor
Stands before his loyal subjects
Petals of the sweet narcissus
Strewn along symbolic skyways
Bittersweet conclusion
Our hero walks alone
