Chasm deep
Light years wide
Disconsolate
Foreboding abyss
Lonely expanse
Our separation suffocates
My energy grows flaccid
Gloomy fog rolls in
Eerie raven tint
Cloaks the passion
Loves death comes slowly
Painful
Smothered by the miles
