As I survey your unselfishness
Unconditional love reveals
You sacrificed your comforts
You never blinked an eye
When my self centered actions
Imposed on your supply
You taught me perseverance
Faith, humility
And the very essence
Of love and family
I honor you my parents
With my gift of song
I love you and I cherish you
Your foundation made me strong
