My mind drifts
Divorced from my human form
Suspended animation
Clouds engulf my consciousness
Blurred vision
Slowly losing sight of the shore
Buoyant
Insouciant
Resilient
I transform
Sanity etiolated
My thoughts, no longer my own
Celestial messages pierce my skull
I stumble on reflexive fear
Satan’s sucker punch
A constant foe
Not knowing my destination
I travel onward
Confident
Obedient
Safe
In My Fathers care
