Feeder bands are moving in
Announcing his arrival
Hurricane Isaac
Wet fury
On his way
The young
The fierce
The surfers
Hard core thrill seekers
Paddle out to play
Those less daring
More conservative
Head the other way
To live
And play another day
The tempest
Temporary
The carnage
Taken on a tilt
Can all be rebuilt
The spirit of community
The kindness of mankind
Neighbors helping neighbors
Compassion you will find
When disaster comes calling
The magic
The sacred bond of survival
And such stories to tell
