WOLFCHILDE

Wolfchilde
Unique
Alive
Triumphant
Baying at the lucent moon
Full of mystery
Enigmatic warrior
Gentle wordsmith’s soul
Your vibrant salient mind
Intelligence unequaled
Loving brother
Fiercely loyal friend
I salute thy independence
Canadian succession
Cast off those chains of stifling oppression
Brilliant blade of truth
No mortal snares can fetter
Gods speed noble paladin
May peace gird your loins evermore

MERCY

MERCY

Melodic strings
Saturn’s rings
Far out inspiration
Feral love
Byproduct of
Bewildered aberration

It pleases me
To let it be
No longer a bondservant
My message clear
No slave to fear
A distance ever fervent

I share with all
This urgent call
Hope lies in submission
A life with Christ
He paid a price
Mercy’s acquisition

Ephesians 2:3-5 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)
Public Domain
3Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.
4But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
5Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved ;)

ENCHANTING APRIL

ENCHANTING APRIL

Sweetest dreams
Life’s special things
These joys I wish for you
Eyes of jade
Enchanting
Stunning peregrine
Hold me close to your heart
Gentle one whom I esteem
Fairness sleek
Beauty animated
Tender balmy smile
Share your soul with me
Trust
The golden key
No harm shall come to thee
Our paths have crossed for reason
Remorse shall linger naught
Dawn’s restless breath awaits
The advent of your presence
A simple jog of fate
Blessed spirits consummation
Our friendship conquers time
Oh smashing precious nymph
Still my restless ghost
Haunting sacred reverence
As I celebrate thy felicity
Feel my words to flatter
Never to offend
This ode to honor thee
Age defies
Passion cries
You stir my very core

NEW ATTITUDE

NEW ATTITUDE

Rushing cruor
Roaring through my burning veins
Warm
Tingling
Fresh
New attitude
Unpretentious
Gratified
My world
Forever impressed
What I was
A helpless hopeless sinner
Echoes down a misty trace
Promise
Great things advancing
Childlike wanderlust
Fits like virgin skin
Almighty God
Your glory
Amaranthine
I praise You everlasting
To be
As one with thy spirit
Oh how my soul cries for prevail
Bless me indeed
As I make my way to You

Ephesians 4:22-24 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)

22That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
23And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

MOTHER NATURES TEARS

MOTHER NATURES TEARS

Kaleidoscopic vertigo
Pre pubescent
Don’tcha know

Raise a glass
Salute the band
Sold out gig
In Never land

Do we dare offend the Queen?
Tale of mystery
Unforeseen

Raunchy fables
Legend falls
Animosity recalls

Late arrivals
Crowd the room
Cascading memories
Sonic boom

Lowly matron
Shattered dreams
Streaked mascara
Muffled screams

Amalgamation
Bitter end
She’ll never grasp
What might have been

COMING CLEAN

COMING CLEAN

Howling demons
Screaming fright
Haunting visions
Dreadful night

Coming down
Crashing tone
Misery calling
All alone

Synthetic nightmare
Aching dawn
Baby steps
As life goes on

I stand rejoicing
Conquered death
Significance
In gasping breaths

Drink the glory
Soak it in
Addiction wanes
Faith begins

To share the journey
Naked truth
Glowing tribute
Incumbent youth

Sound the trumpets
Raise the dead
In silent tribute
Daily bread

Forever altered
Fresh regard
Solid bedrock
Bruised and scarred

Comprehension
Destiny
Sacred balance
Harmony

Ezekiel 11:18-20 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)

18And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.
19And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
20That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

AS IF ON THE WIND (FOR MY BROTHER HUEY)

AS IF ON THE WIND
(FOR MY BROTHER HUEY)

March 2006
Terribly over medicated
Hearty suicidal doses
Awash in chemical hell
Meniere’s sea sick trip
None can possibly relate without a taste
This silent vertigo affliction
I crashed into the wall
A caustic broken man
Resounding flutter
Deepest bipedal level
So vulnerable
Hopes dashed beyond consolation
Helpless desolation
My life
Hung upon a distant black star
Death
Not an issue then
Not an issue now
Blessed friend and neighbor
Drug me out of my forsaken bed
Self pity
Misery personified
My aging body
Resounding withdrawal seizures
Shook my unglued soul
Beautiful vision of faith
On a swell of Angels hymn
He stood tall
Enraptured
Reverent man of God
My brother Huey
Anointed messenger
He marched
Higher
Soaring while he preached
As if on the wind
Gentle healing hands
Soft and consecrated
Blissful human touch
Fragrant hallowed oil of restoration
Mighty bolts of electrifying power
Surging through my transformed shell
Yahweh’s glorious outpouring
Touched my inner vein
Never shall I be the same
Transformed
Joyous birth
A new child within
My Lord
Grateful am I
Forever more
Shall I sing your sublime praises

HE LIVES

HE LIVES

Flowing verbiage
Nouns abound
Gift of prose
Soothing sound

Arresting subject
Light of day
Hope and glory
No delay

Our risen Savior
Celebrate
No hesitation
Snags my fate

Years of haunting
Washed away
Sanctified
Alive this day

Thank you Father
Praise to thee
Teach me Lord
Hear my plea

Fill my soul
Holy light
Scatter me
Direct my sight

I love you Jesus
Forever more
Saving grace

APRIL SHOWERS

APRIL SHOWERS

Springs opulent pageant
Flowers bloom in joyous celebration
Grey billows
Mask the brilliant sun
Gentle rumble of thunderclaps
Provoke refreshing April showers
Afternoon zephyr
Quenching rain from timely cloudbursts
God’s abundance
Nourishment for delicate jeweled petals
Blossoms thrive
A reminder of His eternal grace
Fragrant blessings indeed
A gift for all to cherish

ELEGANT EXPLOSION

ELEGANT EXPLOSION

Flowers bloom
So delicate
Gifts
Fragrant
Paint this valley with glory
Jewels from Angels locks
Alive comes spring
Elegant explosion
Me
No longer who I was
Tears stream as I type
I wonder why?

I TEND TO GET ATTACHED

I TEND TO GET ATTACHED

Tears
Fears
From Yesteryears
People come and go
I tend to get attached
Weakness perhaps
Me nonetheless
I miss those of you
Who have moved on
Wish you well
Abundant blessings
A smooth path to travel
Each one
Has left a unique imprint upon my soul
Forever etched within me
May God guide your instincts
A part of you goes with me always
Go in peace
My dear friends

CLARITY

CLARITY

Remove from me dear GOD
The self centeredness that clouds me
My selfishness thoughtlessness
The lack of patience I often utilize
Please teach me dear Father
Show me your ways
Mold me and shape me
To your divine likeness
I give you my all Holy One
To follow this path you have laid out before me
I have so many questions
I am thankful for the presence of your Interpreter
To accompany every step of the journey
I am not afraid of Satan Dear Father
I shall battle him face to face if it be your bid
All I ask is for clarity
Please make my task clear to me
And I shall serve you diligently
All glory goes to you
AMEN

EXPLODING SKULL

EXPLODING SKULL

Overmedicated
Doctors answers to excruciating pain
A Zombie
In wretched grievous anguish
Searches too find the root of the nerve
Quest of mass importance
Demons of tortuous head pain
Human limits strained
I question God’s lessons
Please teach me in this hell
My body soon shall break
My mere mortal pain threshold at the brink
Shall I learn thy mission?
Before my skull explodes?
My eyes focus on the hellion
Who wreaks his wrath upon me
Renders me as an imbecile
Leaves me in such agony
I trust completely in Christ’s timing
This message shall be powerful and uplifting
I pray for strength my Father
Help me with this task
Give me the necessary power to withstand this awful suffering
Allow me to defeat its brutish timetable.
All victory shall be yours Christ Jesus
Give me the satisfaction of ripping this demons flesh with my teeth
The ones I’ve gnashed on his behalf for so long
I wait patiently for your deliverance my Lord.

49 Remember your word to your servant, for you have given me hope.
50 My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life.
51 The arrogant mock me without restraint, but I do not turn from your law.

YOUNG SQUIREL

YOUNG SQUIRREL

March 2nd 2006
A cold clear blustery day
I relax on my back porch
Feeling the icy north wind awaken my soul
I eye a tiny furry grey squirrel
He
Eying Me
One floor above me
In an old hickory tree
His fine graying brown hair bristled
In the brisk north wind
His tiny warm body
Hugging the wooden burrow
Perfect set up
For his defensive crib
Hungry Hawk
Circling a mile us
Oblivious to his secret lair
I imagined the young squirrel winked at me
Survivors
He and I
Go in peace young one
Keep your head low
I wish you God’s speed

HE IN ME

HE IN ME

There are beautiful moments in my life
I carry with me always
The birth of my children
A romantic sweet kiss
The soft warm belly of a fat puppy
The glowing sincere eyes of a friend
Then there are scary awkward plateaus
Precarious times when I am completely lost
As now
I know not what trouble lurks within my brain
Be it malignant
Or some sort of wicked imagination
Conjured up by my warped prescription mind
I shall let the Neurologist sort it all out
I do know this without hesitation
All that I am
Everything I stand for
Every fiber in my body and my mind
BELIEVES IN HIM
LOVES HIM UNCONDITIONALLY
HE WHO HATH SAVED ME BY HIS MERCY AND GRACE
JESUS CHRIST
I AM
SON OF GOD
LORD OR LORDS

I hold his hand tightly
As I venture into this bizarre new territory
I smile at the angels HE sends to shadow me each day
I glow in the safety of HIS eternal embrace
I pray you know HIM intimately
You shall never be the same
HE stands there longing to befriend you
All you have to do is ask
SELAH

MAGNETIC RESONANCE IMAGING

Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Thundering magnets
With head straps
Coffin enclosures
Even for the open minded
Tribal rhythm
Beats deeply within the very microprobes of my brain
Microbial Relationship Inertia
My eyes stare Blankley
As the ancient pulse pounds forbidden knowledge into my aching head
Contrast dye
Somehow separates the message
Blue means highest priority
Pink used for lower frequency technology
My veins have grown callous to the numerous piercing
Hardly a prick is felt these days
Still no step closer to my cure
Splitting head of migraine misery
Perhaps I am the cure
Could it be possible that I am the receptor from the elders?
The chosen one
Nurtured over the years for this very heralded cure
As my head explodes in grey matter
Secret particles shall ooze forth from its pores
Hush
Thus far, this has been a low security matter
It’s only tissue my dear
Store it in a bit of Formaldehyde
Use it for future benefit
So it shall live on through me
Then the pain will have been worthy

TANGERINE SKY SHOW

TANGERINE SKY SHOW

Glowing tangerine sky show
Aflame upon the edged masonry
My humble back porch
Alive
Explodes with beautiful end of day colors
Vibrant
Breathtaking
Stunning
Soft sublets
Flow to rich wooden textures
Shadowy old oak trees
Look like boney dark figures
From a Boris Karloff movie
It shall be dusk soon
Thank you Father
This gorgeous reprieve from the darkness
The air grows sweet
Nesting birds shrill in the distance
Bedtime
All is well
In Madison Alabama

Ezekiel 12:12"The prince among them will put his things on his shoulder at dusk and leave, and a hole will be dug in the wall for him to go through. He will cover his face so that he cannot see the land.Ezekiel 12:11-13 (in Context) Ezekiel 12 (Whole Chapter)

CAUGHT A LIGHT BREEZE

CAUGHT A LIGHT BREEZE

I feel their presence all around me
Gentle breeze a blowing
Angels are they
In charge of looking after me
I’ve never physically met them
Don’t even know their names
So strange
Still
Positive energy radiation
Glowing Godly love
Reassuring companions
I am never unaccompanied
Times when I feel skittish
They always float me a hint
A shadow on the wall
A quick glance
Beautiful fragrant breeze that stirs from nowhere
My spirit grows lighthearted
They stand firm beside me still
They have seen me at my worst
And shall teach me to become my best
Sorry
Can’t give you much of a description
Just confident certification of their existence
They are quite real
Should you need such collateral
I really don’t care if you disbelieve
The subject’s not up for debate
By my side both day and night
Just as Christ has promised
We are in His care for always
We are never alone

Romans 14:6-8 (New International Version)
New International Version (NIV)
Copyright © 1973, 1978, 1984 by International Bible Society

6He who regards one day as special, does so to the Lord. He who eats meat, eats to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he who abstains, does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God. 7For none of us lives to himself alone and none of us dies to himself alone. 8If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.
