DEMON WINDS
Roiling ominous clouds
Blackened doom impending
Bleak horizon looms nigh
Celestial intimidation
Precursor to apocalyptic storms approaching
Demon winds howling
Wildly swirling tempest
Darting lightening vengeance
Sky show of awesome fury
Masses scurry for shelter
A mere manmade pittance against nature’s supremacy
Safe harbor
Quiet solitude
In the climax of violent pandemonium
Lay close in His sweet embrace
As it was written by ancient prophets
My prayers go up in urgency
For all to take rapid heed
Jesus Christ awaits your call
Salvations blissful peace
Gifts unrecompensed
Refuge everlasting
