TARNISHED FOLKLORE

TARNISHED FOLKLORE

Social indifference
OxyCotin apathy
Corrodes our vacant minds
Blind eyes
Vacant tears
Politely
Eschew injustice
Sterile prism of human emotions
Dismal dyestuff
Reluctantly
We trudge along
Well worn path to emptiness
Lethargic pariah
Curse of “I don’t give a damn”
Grave burden indeed
Knights in shining armor
Fulfilling American conquest
Alas
Tarnished folklore
What nirvana it would be
This hell
We call society
If everyone cared
Shared
Practiced peaceful brotherhood
How miniscule
We truly are
Vast epoch
We call life on earth
Time for new beginnings
We
All free
To choose as we see fit
Reality
Doesn’t have to suck
Compassion
Love
Peace
Achievable goals to live by
Swallowed pride
Begins with me
Consider this an olive branch
Loyalty
