RECONCILIATION
My words
“I love you”
Consuming
Sincere
Hardly hyperbole
Scars deep within
Defend each syllable
My heart
Sanguine
Origami of emotional layers
Throbbing pulse metronome
Keeping time
For a melancholic tune
Fond anamneses upon me
Dwell on euphoric moments with you
Languid mood
Rejections aftermath
I endure our detachment
Reluctantly
Fervent prayers of reconciliation
Flow in earnest
From my lonely soul
“Let not the wife depart from her husband: But and if she departs, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband: and let not the husband put away his wife.”
1 Corinthians 7: 10-11
