MICHELLE
I met her today
While dining with a friend
Beautiful lady
Her gracious smile
Warms my heart with sincere enthusiasm
Haunting eyes
Distressed locked gaze
Penetrates my marrow
River of compassion wells from within
Flowing to her silent plea
We shared a numinous moment
As time stood still
Spiritual connection
Benevolence of God’s grace
Human urgency
Pain of nagging heartache
Gently replaced with Christian tenderness
Her sensitive kiss on my cheek
Sweet memory of our bond
Captivated by her charm
I wait patiently
For her walls of caution to crumble
Accepting my genuine solace
As it was meant to be
“And of some have compassion, making a difference”
Jude 1: 22
